Basic MLD in St. George, UT

A basic manual lymphatic drainage session is very different from any massage. Typically applied as a medical treatment for conditions such as puffiness, chronic swelling, Lymphedema, or swelling after surgery, this specialized modality does not apply almost any pressure at all, but targets the lymph system just inferior to our skin’s surface through the use of very light, rhythmic skin movement techniques, and a critical sequencing method, to encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid through the body.

Please note that while I have training in Basic MLD, and am aware of the critical and hierarchical flow of channels in this system, I am not technically “Certified” in MLD. Because of this, I may turn away clients who may come to me with more serious medical conditions than swelling, and refer them to a lymph specialist.
